"Receptionist very helpful, room and view lovely, excellent shower; only let down by 'missing' staff at breakfast. Literally had to find someone to welcome us in/show to a table. Agreed, it was busy due to half-term, but surely that could have been provisioned for?"

"We stayed for a week at Christmas - amazing location, plenty of space for 3, so central but that does mean it can be a little noisy at times, even 7 floors up (you can hear the announcements at Queen St station!) but we would definitely stay there again. Abi and Charlie were great hosts, really helpful."

The only thing that bothered me was number of unruly children running about in the dining area, grabbing food, overfilling their plates and then leaving most of the wonderfully prepared food. Seems there is no parental control - not the fault of Celtic Manor, but rather spoilt the experience"

"We had a lovely stay. The had a lovely apartment with all amenities. Used the pool and jacuzzi/sauna/steam room all great. Had a meal in the bar which was great and quite good value. The wine however was extortionate £13 for a large glass and £10 for a medium glass!!! The site was beautiful the lake and grounds were lovely and the little church was lovely! The service was EXCELLENT in hotel and spa. Thank you. Would highly recommend...but stay off the wine!!"

"Lovely pool area and polite staff, unfortunately bins in the rooms had not been emptied from previous guests. Paid for late check out to use the pool area and would say this was worth it. breakfast fresh made and very good."
