We had one tour scheduled to start early in the AM so the staff was eager to prepare a breakfast for us to eat in our room as their breakfast time did not start until 8:30. "Absolutely amazing. Dead-center of everything you'll want to see and do in Valparaiso. If you can, get a room with the terrace view, which provides direct access to the stairs to the roof and its stunning 360 degree views. The couple that runs this place are just lovely and very knowledgeable of the surrounding area. Our only complaint was the lack of a mini-fridge in the room. A lot of the restaurants in the area served huge portions, and we had nowhere to put the leftovers."

While staying in this hotel, I had a medical situation that I had trouble dealing with given I knew nothing about the country and place nor did I speak Spanish. "This place is nice. When you walk to the reception it looks a lot humbler than it actually is. The rooms are very nice, great ocean view from all of our rooms. Rooms are modern and well appointed, bathrooms are a bit too close to the bed, lacking privacy. The deck is nice, overlooking the ocean and neighborhood.
