"We enjoyed our first trip to PB Sunset Beach! We arrived around 2pm and our room was ready. They have golf carts that escort you around the property. You just call them and they’ll come, usually in less than 5 minutes! The property is very hilly but you can walk around as well. You’re given a bracelet at check in that serves as your room key, so you can use that for your door, closing tabs after eating (required even if no charge) and any extra charges. "Spent a few days here on a solo vacation. The resort is clean and on the smaller side. Definitely an older crowd as well. The area around the resort was nice with plently of outside food and shopping options. The food at the hotel restaurants was basic at best. Dont forget to check out the bar at the top of the lighthouse! The views are amazing and worth the climb up the stairs, or take the sketchy elevator. "

"The Solmar resort was OK. The staff was the best part- very friendly and helpful. The resort itself is older so the amenities are outdated- the shower didn’t drain well, the sheets were itchy, the windows shook at night with the wind, no extra locks on the doors. It is also located on the side of the ocean where you cannot go in so do not stay here if you want actual beach access"

"Enjoyed the resort, however, not offering shuttle service back to the airport daily and therefore having to pay an arm and leg for a taxi was a waste. I was also offered $50 credit, but when I asked to apply it to balance at the end of my stay, I was told I couldn’t because it was just for food. Info on these services needs to be clearer from up front. "
