"This was my second time at this property. I love that it has a public bath and is the reason I stopped again in Kyoto on my way to Tokyo. The room has everything that I needed. It’s a short walk from the Kyoto train station which has everything imaginable. Shops, restaurants, name it. The Japanese outdid themselves with that station. I got lost several times because it is so big. The staff are great as it appears to be at most Japanese establishments. I hope to come back again."

"The rooms were on the small side but the twin room had much more space over the queen. Would recommend paying the extra. Overall the hotel was in a good location and was clean & tidy. "

"Room was nice and spacious even despite the size. Buyer beware, pool is extra charge for each visit (2 hours only). Breakfast buffet was okay but no variety or chamge day to day. Staff were very nice and helpful with all inquiries. Shuttle to train station was nice, clean and fast. Smoking room needs air purification. Bar in basement was a great atmosphere and fabulous staff.
