"Central hotel in the Old Town with easy walking access to rest of town . Room was small but bed was large . Only downside i could comment on was that there was no in room fridge , but maybe difficult to find space to put one , but all in all a very pleasant stay at a good hotel at a competitive price ."

"Amazing location right in the middle of town, just off the square. Super comfortable room. Staff was very responsive and helpful. You can't drive into the main part of town during the day - it's a pedestrian zone - but they gave us very clear and helpful instructions on how and where to park. "We greatly enjoyed our stay at Haus Bayerwald. From the time we checked in we felt genuinely welcomed. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. There was a kitchenette so we could prepare breakfast and meals. We had a beautiful view from our balcony. We enjoyed dining at the restaurant. The indoor swimming pool was great, too. But the best part was the friendliness of the staff. We'll be back!"

"The building is fantastic. Old world building with new, modern amenities. The staff (or lack there of) could be better. There was no one available at check in. They just left the keys and an info sheet on the counter. The kitchen staff who set up breakfast did not make eye contact or even speak to the guests. "We stayed here for a wedding at The State Chateau of Hluboka. The room was spacious, breakfast was good (basic), and the grounds were lovely to walk around. The big negative we experienced was when ordering a taxi at reception to the train station, they had said they ordered a taxi and an older lady turned up in her personal car which was not a metered taxi. We got ripped off and had to dip into the cash reserves as didn’t have the energy or time to argue, it was very disappointing the hotel...
