"Staying at Public was a strange experience! The room was comfortable and even though very small (as is the norm in NYC), you could tell a lot of thought had gone into the design and maximising storage and hanging space. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. It’s the ‘open plan’ type of bathroom so I wouldn’t be comfortable sharing with someone I’m not in a relationship with! Very little privacy. The weird part is that you pay hundreds of dollars a night to not talk to any...

"Great location if you are focused on Brooklyn and surrounding area. Convenient to restaurants and subway stations and local shops. The hotel has a vibe to it. Our disappointment was with the room. The TV went blank every ten to 15 minutes and took several minutes to turn back on. While we asked for service, it was never fixed so we had 3 days with the inconvenience. We set our room to be cleaned but when we returned after being out all day the room hadn’t be cleaned and no fresh towels...
