"Exceptional. My daughter and I had a 2 night stay. We have passed the hotel many times and have always wanted to stay. We were in London for the weekend for an event and decided to book. The room was fabulous, the staff were amazing. Spotlessly clean through. A wonderful bar. Great location, a few steps from the tube. Faultless and would thoroughly recommend. "

"It was a great base for a couple of days in London for the theatre. Comfy beds, good pillows, nice shower and a good choice, hot and replenished often at breakfast. There was a bit of a queue to get in to breakfast in the morning but nothing too dramatic. The only thing I would say is we only got 3 towels in the room even though there were 4 of us which I thought was a bit odd, I’m sure it would not have been too much trouble if we requested another but we managed with 3 ok.. just maybe...

"It wasnt clear how to lower the air conditioning temperature. Too hot all night long. Loved the ambience of the hotel and discovered that amazing main staircase from the original hotel. It’s hidden away - everyone should see it, it’s a triumph of art and architecture, amazing. All staff friendly and helpful x x x "

"The staff were very friendly. Just a few notes. If two people are staying in the room there should be two towels…we had to ask for the second one. The kettle in our room was not working so had to ask for a new one. Also we have never stayed in a hotel where wifi is extra. For what you pay for a hotel room these days wifi should be included. "
