"The hotel is located in a magnificent location, up on a hill with a view of the vineyards. It is a peaceful place to enjoy. The restaurant not only serves excellent food but also provides a great experience, with very kind personnel and breathtaking views."

"No complaints about the property. Everything was nice, staff members very friendly and accommodating. BUT property address did not show up on the navigation system on our rental car, and Google Map kept giving us wrong directions. By the time we reached the property, it was late and we were exhausted. Reception talked to the restaurant on property, and we were able to have fine dinner before their kitchen closed. Unless you enjoy long walks, driving to Terme di Saturnia (hot springs) outside the property is recommended. Parking there is free before 8AM. Wearing tight water shoes is recommended as it was hard for us to walk in hot springs with our flip flops."

"We couldn't have hoped for a better retreat. You need a car to get to this gem 10 mins outside of Orvieto but if you're looking for peace and quiet and a beautiful property with an amazing pool, this is the place. We had great service, food (breakfast and dinner) and accommodation."

"Very comfortable, thanks for the A/C, big bathroom, breakfast was perfect, staff were excellent. I would recommend that the instructions for arriving very clearly state in English that the funicolare is not open late and no taxis are available late. Clear instructions in English for how/where to catch the shuttle bus to get to the accommodation and whether payment is required would be EXTREMELY helpful after a long day of travel to get to Orvieto. We were slightly panicked, but then by the grace of God a shuttle bus pulled in across the street and we quickly ran over with our luggage so as not to miss it. The driver told us he was going to the Duomo, and we had to walk with our luggage from there. We didn’t understand whether there was a charge at all for the shuttle bus, but the driver told us we didn’t have to pay."
