"Central and close to railway station. Undergoing a facelift so the exterior is covered in scaffolding. Interior is grand & spacious but dated. Room was comfortable but a little shabby. Bed was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was spacious with bath and natural light. Overall ideal for my needs and budget. "

"Very simple and quick check-in. Very spacious room for its standard, really comfy bed, everything worked, switches and sockets, taps and fixtures etc... was to a good, well maintained and worked fine. Not sure why booking through Hotels.com caused me to incur 20% VAT charge as i paid £149 including VAT and charges for the room. "

"Overall this was a good stay. Upon arrival the lady on the desk was really friendly and got me checked in. I was on the 19th floor. Room was clean. Didn't have any noise disturbance overnight. The bed was comfortable. The bath was a bit slippy when I used the shower. The ventilation system seems to always make a noise even if it's meant to be off. The green light from the gas monitor wasn't great as it reflected through the glass bedside table. "
