"Staying at Public was a strange experience! The room was comfortable and even though very small (as is the norm in NYC), you could tell a lot of thought had gone into the design and maximising storage and hanging space. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. It’s the ‘open plan’ type of bathroom so I wouldn’t be comfortable sharing with someone I’m not in a relationship with! Very little privacy. "A really wonderful boutique hotel on the LES. Since its winter they had a beautiful roaring fire in the lounge which was nice to see when arriving back after a long day. The room was on the smaller side but had every amenity needed. Loved the nespresso machine and the view was fantastic. Great access to the subway which was only a couple of blocks away, but walking allowed us to see all the fun neighborhood gems. We ordered room service and the food was delicious. " Seemed clean. Towels were a bit rough but ok. Overall satisfied and surprised by size of place (my ‘room’ was more like a 1 bedroom apartment. A but dated but things worked fine. "
