"Staff was fantastic, friendly, courteous, helpful. Hotel is new, fresh, clean, well-maintained, well-run. Management has put together a great team of employees that is a welcome change from many typical hotels. My favorite feature is their secure underground parking, protected from the elements and hotel outsiders. We wish they had self-service laundry facilities on premises, because their are no laundramats within 20 miles and 4500 feet of elevation (Alamogordo) -- and those are shabby -- go to Ruidoso Downs instead. Grand Cloudcroft Hotel is at nearly 9,000 feet of elevation, so if you have respiratory difficulties or problems, expect chronic shortness of breath. However, we will return to this very nice hotel in an amazing and refreshing microclimate. Thank you Mark, Julie, and staff."

"I loved it! The cabin was wondaful. It had everything I needed, lots of amenities. Great place to get out of the heat. Even saw deer and elk from the front door. Very relaxing atmosphere."
