"We always try to stay at Monterey Bay Inn when going to Monterey. The rooms are clean, a nice size, we have a balcony and a view, and it’s close to a nice park. It’s between Cannery Row and Monterey Wharf, so location is great and very walkable. They have free parking, which is a plus. There are great restaurants nearby, Osteria al Mare and Schooners are two we like that is close by. "

"Location in Seaside is close enough to main attractions in Monterey and Carmel. The nearby drive is very scenic. The rooms are styled well, fairly modernized. They are clean and the housekeeping services are very helpful. The continental breakfast was adequate. Was nice to have coffee and juice and basics of cereal, toast and instant oatmeal. oh....and frozen waffles. Easy parking. Building appeared to be newly painted and the hanging geraniiums offered a nice affefct."
