"The staff at Poco a Poco were so incredibly kind and accommodating, they were a pleasure every time we had a question or needed something. The amenities of the property were clean and well-maintained, having a covered pool and hot tub was such a big plus for us since we visited during the rainy season. "The staff, breakfast, and location were great, and the nearby capuchin monkeys and wildlife were delightful. But… a hotel has one main job to do: provide a comfortable bed and pillow for a good night’s rest. Our three-night stay wasn’t great. Bed and pillows didn’t cut it. We liked the help with getting transportation and an excursion to the Cloud Forest Reserve, but we were always dreading the night’s sleep. If you’re going to drive all the way to Monteverde, stay somewhere more comfortable."
