"Great property, great location. Great staff. Beautiful high ceilings. Very accommodating. The only criticism I have is that the people working the spa seemed clueless and uptight. The guy I was talking to about treatments appeared like he had never had a massage in his life. And as I was trying to get more information about treatments and providers everyone seemed to get more nervous and uptight. Very strange. Other than that had a great hotel experience."

"Based on previous comments I was concerned about the self check in but that was all fine. O only problem was the airline didn't deliver my luggage and since there was no front desk they couldn't deliver so I had to go back to the airport. "Came to Edinburgh for our anniversary but didn’t want to stay in a chain hotel or in the middle of the tourist area. We wanted something that had the charm of the city but also convenient to the tram and rail station as well as walkable too. This hotel checked all of those boxes. It is in the West End and about a 10 minute walk to the tram and Haymarket train station. Even though our day trip tickets were from Waverly, we were easily allowed to board at Haymarket instead.
