"Very nice hotel We did have problems with the heat so the room was a bit cold which made it uncomfortable (April in Scotland) Staff unable to rectify properly before we left. They said the plumber had been called but the plumber never came to our room to fix the heating issue? The reception staff said the manager would get in touch with us about it, but it is now 5 days since we checked out and we have heard nothing. Not good follow up as this is not a cheap hotel by any means. "

"The hotel was supposed to be in a central location but it was 12 minutes walk to the shops and then a further 12 minutes walk to the bars, so it was too much effort to go out for a beer and something to eat on Saturday night.
