"Good property. Quiet location. Close -5min walk- to train station. Room was bigger than most. There was enough room for my hubby, myself and 2 kids (11&13) and our luggage. Balcony was added bonus. Reception staff could speak English - some better than others. Would have been nice to have water, tea, coffee, milk in room. McDonald's and local restaurants close. "

"Great location, close to Ueno Station for exploring Tokyo. A short walk to Ueno Park, museums and other cultural attractions. Staff were friendly and everything was kept very clean. "

"My family and I were so happy we decided to book this location. It is literally 10ft away from a 7/11 store to get any food or drinks necessary. Having the 7/11 be open 24hrs was really great as we were getting food at odd times because of jet lag in the first few days. Not only is there a 7/11 so close, but there are neighboring grocery stores that are open as well. The biggest selling point in my opinion is that the JR station is a 3 minute walk from the complex. "Great stay at Calm Asakusa. Best things about property was the location, so close to Asakusa station and other sights including restaurants, shopping and of course Kaminarimon Gate & Sensoji Temple. The property itself was very clean & quiet. Having a washing machine was very handy. Bathroom had all the bells and whistles and water temperature & pressure were excellent. We were staying there as a family of four with two kids and found it quite tight as the day bed could really only fit one...
