"This is one of the most beautiful comfortable hotels we have ever stayed in and we have been throughout Europe on many trips! The staff were lovely, the room spectacular, breakfasts delicious and overall an amazing experience within which to enjoy Antwerp. "We couldn’t have asked for a better hotel. The staff was incredible—always available and skilled not only in guest services but also as bartenders. We also enjoyed a wonderful massage at the spa, which had an amazing atmosphere. The hotel's aesthetic won us over, and the views were breathtaking (see below). "Nice room in an old converted building. Room is very nice except is on upper floor without lift. The owner is very nice, made a pot of tea for me every afternoon. Neighborhood is so so, a lot of renovation going on, with a tatoo studio very near by, a lot of people with tattoo hanging around. But the location is excellent, very near the old town center. It was a little hard to find, the only sign is on this plain looking door with very small words by the street number."

"I loved the small scale, excellent location (literally beside the cathedral, yet quiet) and simplicity. The room is far from fancy, but clean and has everything one needs. Staff were relaxed & friendly. The price was great too."
