"Amazing stay at The Barn! The hostel was very new and clean. There was a full kitchen for guests to use, lots of chairs to lounge and relax. Great location and incredible views from the hostel. Was able to see the Northern Lights from the parking lot :)"

"This hotel was so great. The staff, bartender, restaurant all 5 stars and amazing. While the accommodations are not modern (think Viking cozy cabin feel), it is a great experience and tip top service. They have the Aurora wake up call and luckily we got to see the light show @ 4am. Don't think twice book a room here, you won't regret it. They even have a cute service where they will send 1 postcard anywhere in the world."

"Best place to stay as you can walk to both Kvernufoss and Skogafoss. The staff is super friendly and helpful."

"The toaster was broken and it blew all the fuses. The individual chair in our unit had a board of wood to try to have the cushion not sink in. Could have done without those issues. "

"Contactless check in didnt work. We had to make a call to get the correct code to access the property. Once i side the hotel was nicely presented with free tea and coffee and breakfast. Nice place to stay and really close to the waterfall."

"Nice hotel. About 15 minutes drive from Vik. Nothing else around the hotel so quiet. The room was large with a good view. It was very expensive however, and not as ‘value for money’ as some of the other places we stayed on our trip. "
