"Great hotel in historical building and dominating location. Really nice reception staff and bar and restaurant staff were even better. As residents we were able to access some of the restricted spaces "

"Lovely greeting by receptionist on our arrival, room had super comfy beds air con slow on fast setting but room was a comfortable temp. Shower over bath lovely and warm, small bathroom which was clean and all we needed for an overnight stop before the ferry."

"Beautiful "

"Our room overlooked a noisy busy main road and there was a railway line behind the hotel. There was no air conditioning in our room. We were told the bar would not open until 8.30. We couldn't book a table in the restaurant because a coach party was booked in but if there was room they would try to fit us in. There were no alternatives within walking distance. The photos of the hotel are very misleading. I wouldn't be surprised if they had been photo-shopped!"
