"The staff is amazing and extremely helpful. Our cabin overlooked the trees with birds galore. Plenty of trails around the property with a fish hatchery, flowers, fruit, etc. we opted for breakfast the first day but didn’t realize we were to tell them on the next day. Not sure what happened. Defiant would stay again. Pool was freezing so we couldn’t enjoy it very much when we were there. "

Spontane Night Tour mit dem Besitzer durch sein Anwesen mit Sichtung von typischen Fröschen. Herzhaftes Frühstück und freundliche Kommunikation, wir fühlten uns willkommen. Lage mitten in natürlicher Umgebung, einzig die Zufahrt über holprige Strasse war nicht optional … aber den Umständen entsprechend alles besser als erwartet, absolut empfehlenswert. "

"No daily room service. Have to request the WiFi code but overall we would definitely stay again. Loved the seculedness of each room. Maybe add a second set of stairs to the hot tub. Beautiful rooms and beautiful property. "

" I’m very picky about cleanliness so I chose this cabin because I could see while blankets & towels in the pictures & they didn’t disappoint me! All was perfectly clean & organized The mattress & pillows were very comfortable. Someone said it was hard to locate the place but just following Waze or Google maps we made it to their parking with no problem. "The house, property and landscaping was amazing. The outdoor bed by the hot tub is covered and wonderful for napping. The view is amazing. I would definitely stay there again. The neighbors are really nice and washed our clothes. The gate made us feel safe and was easy to locate. "

"Just had a fantastic weekend at this brand new, cozy studio apartment. It's quiet, has everything you need, and the new spacious garden is lovely. Plus, it's only a quick 3-minute drive to downtown Monteverde. Definitely planning on coming back!"

Volcano Lodge Hotel & Thermal Experience

"We stayed here about 9 years ago and chose to stay again. Our room was the type that has a 'backyard' with our own hot spring (think jacuzzi with a water fall feature, surrounded by plants and flowers, and heated by a volcano). The thermal forest and hot springs near the main pool were also amazing and a nice option between La Fortuna adventures, or when the rain forest is 'doing it's job' (aka raining). The hotel has also added a large covered area with sofas and comfy chairs and tables to allow for protection from the rain, but still to be outside and with views of the trees and plants."
