"It as laid out very well and easy to find things. The house band was awesome and super friendly. The lack of English was surprising and the shows at night were almost entirely in Spanish. We would definitely recommend learning Spanish bf going. The beach is a surfing beach and rocky ( lava rock) not like the pitures. I fell and cut open both knees on a tour and the resort had alcohol , cotton and only little bandaides. My cuts were large so this was useless . I felt for a resort this was highly...

"We strongly recommend this property for families looking to visit Tamarindo. The room was impeccably clean with a very powerful air conditioning unit. Water pressure on both the shower and toliet were a bit lacking but still usable. We stayed on a Thursday night and had no noise problems (though it may be a problem on Friday night when their weekly parties are). We felt very safe as the front gate is closed (but it of course can be opened if you arrive late) and monitored by a security guard...

"A lovely Costa Rican bed and breakfast style hotel. 5-star property for Costa Rica standards, 4-star property by traditional standards. The staff is amazing. The food is excellent. Expect a very relaxing bed and breakfast type hotel where you are made to feel like family. The food is fantastic."
