"Came to Edinburgh for our anniversary but didn’t want to stay in a chain hotel or in the middle of the tourist area. We wanted something that had the charm of the city but also convenient to the tram and rail station as well as walkable too. This hotel checked all of those boxes. It is in the West End and about a 10 minute walk to the tram and Haymarket train station. Even though our day trip tickets were from Waverly, we were easily allowed to board at Haymarket instead. "Perfectly located close to the centre of town and a short walk from the tram connecting the city to the airport. The hotel has a very nice old world feel, and the staff were friendly and professional. The room was clean, and the breakfast menu covered all tastes. We will definitely have the B B on our list the next time we return to Edinburgh."
