"Upon entering the Abazzia after a short walk (5 mins) from the train terminal we were greeted warmly by Matteo. He checked us in early, and explained everything clearly. He was a funny and charismatic host which is what you want in any hotel. The room was beautifully appointed In the old Venetian style, and was clean and comfortable. The hidden gem was the included breakfast which was incredible. Conveniently located and short walk to everything, this is a must add to your hotel list "

"This was my second time staying here. I chose the suite that overlooks the Grand Canal. I was not disappointed! The room is amazing! It is extremely large with a massive Venetian Chandelier hanging over the bed. The doors opened to a very tiny balcony on the grand canal. This hotel offers great breakfast and it located directly on a vaparetto stop. Its location is fantastic! I will forever stay at this hotel in Venice! "
