"As always I was given a warm welcome at hotel. Some staff recognised me from previous stays, particularly last year when they kindly brought me a birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday on my birthday. Embarrassing but nice too! Always my first choice for Venice."

"The hotel is less than a five minute walk from the trains, which I promise you is critical as we saw many struggling through the streets with their suitcases. Our check in experience was fantastic and the staff are very kind, with helpful recommendations. They have luggage storage on site which provides a great piece of mind. "Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. The rooms have an old-world sophistication to them and are generously large. Breakfast was great and had lots of options. The staff was friendly and the location safe and quite. We visited in April and didnt need AC but only by opening the windows which let in the mosquitos as there are no screens on the windows :( thats about the only thing we had to complain about. Front desk told me they only turn on AC during the summer. "
