"We stayed at the hotel Royal for 2 nights in October. The hotel is located just a 10 minute walk from the centre, however it is up quite a steep hill, so if you have a lot of baggage it’s not ideal. The room itself was ok, not as nice as the one shown in pictures but the bed was comfortable. "The property was very beautiful. It was clean. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. They seemed extremely concerned about safety, and electricity, everything was unplugged and kitchen not usable. It was noisy but I think that’s to be expected. It was very hard to find, would have been better if there were directions on how to enter property and driving and parking. "Hotel is well situated in a quiet area with lots of dining options. It’s also an easy walk to all the historic areas. We also used the hotel gym several times and we thought it was very decent. I would definitely recommend this hotel to people traveling in catania."
