"Hotel is in a great location. Very central. Hotel is nice, but dated. The bathroom door in our room wouldn’t close properly because of the latch, we had to fix it ourselves a couple times. The body wash dispenser in the shower was clogged and didn’t work. Our check in was a little annoying because we got there at 3pm and were told we were on a priority list to get our room but unfortunately we didn’t get our room till 5pm when others around us were. We could walk to everything! Even though we did not need our car, we found on-street parking just a few steps from the hotel’s entrance. Hotel 71 is definitely five stars all around!"

"Automatic hotel NO Staff First experience of such a hotel . Would not repeat. Having to wait until 3pm to access hotel as staffless. When you arrive early and want to drop off luggage. I discovered a luggage store with code on day of leaving. Maybe I should have asked if this would have been possible on arrival day. But it certainly isn’t stated in hotel details . Do not like the aspect of no staff on site "

"The first 2 rooms we were offered had no heat. The staff worked well to find another room that was very acceptable. The continental breakfast was better than the staff mentioned. Very pleased. "

"This property is located in Old Town Quebec. It’s within walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops. The room and bathroom are somewhat small but well appointed. There’s no coffee or fridge in the room but coffee and a continental breakfast (separate charge) was available. The hotel did provide a small fridge to our friends who needed to store medication. The staff were wonderful and helpful. We would stay there again."
