"I stayed here on New Years Eve 2019 and thoroughly enjoyed my time in Stratford. On arrival at the hotel staff couldn’t find my booking; I showed them my confirmation having paid in full. They managed to give us a room, but not sure what would have happened if the hotel was fully booked? Our room was very dated, could do with some modernisation. But overall good value for money. "

"The hotel has been recently refurbished and on arrival the reception area is spacious and clean. The staff on reception were very friendly and check in was quick. The room itself had a very large double bed and was very comfortable. The leisure facilities were good - it includes a small pool with Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym, all kept very clean and in good order. "We were really disappointed on arrival as the hotel was covered in scaffolding and the entrance looked much more like a 1970s multi-storey carpark than a 4* hotel. The stairs (the lift was out of order), reception area and room were very dated. The soundproofing in the bathroom was non-existent (my wife could hear everything next door). Having said that the beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok."

"Lovely property and location. Spa was great, although jacuzzi and outdoor area not working on Sunday. Breakfast was good, not excellent, rooms fine, just a little tired and dated. Expected of this type of hotel though. Lounge area, bar and gardens lovely"
