"It needs investment in the building . Our room needed some embellishment with cushions on the sofa which underneath the bed runner used to cover it , it was extremely worn with the stuffing showing!! The curtains need to be replaced as they are worn and in some places don’t meet in the middle. The four poster had no drapes nor cushions. Very easy to brighten the room up . We loved the extra space though with the dressing room . The hotel seems to be aiming at golf and conferences as the limited...

"Nice hotel conveniently located within walking distance of all local attractions. Good points: wheelchair accessible, spacious and clean rooms, good shower, plenty of breakfast choices, and amazing fish and chips! One thing to note when parking, don't use the app as its cheaper to pay the hotel at the end. This wasn't mentioned during check in so we ended up paying £10 more for the 2 days. "

"The atmosphere and ambience was wonderful in this historic old inn and staff were very friendly. The pub was gret but no food is available because they are no longer running the restaurant. Conveniently located for touring the Cotswolds and Stratford on Avon by car Biggest issie is very poor wifi in rooms except on phones, ipad connectons dropped off as soon as you leave the main pub area "

"I stayed here on New Years Eve 2019 and thoroughly enjoyed my time in Stratford. On arrival at the hotel staff couldn’t find my booking; I showed them my confirmation having paid in full. They managed to give us a room, but not sure what would have happened if the hotel was fully booked? Our room was very dated, could do with some modernisation. But overall good value for money. "
